Yes, the Chase Sapphire Reserve hotel credits can stack in 2026.
I had this happen on an IHG booking. The $250 select Chase Travel hotel credit posted, and The Edit credit also posted. Same stay, two separate credits.
That's really the whole point. If the hotel qualifies for both credits, the double dip is possible.
TL;DR
- The 2026 select hotel credit gives up to $250 back on eligible prepaid Chase Travel hotel stays
- The Edit credit gives up to $250 back per eligible prepaid The Edit booking, up to $500 per year
- If a hotel qualifies for both, both credits can post on the same stay
- You need to book through Chase Travel, choose Pay Now, stay at least 2 nights, and use the Sapphire Reserve
- In Chase Travel, look for the "The Edit" label and the "Eligible for hotel loyalty program" line if you care about hotel points or status credit
- Don't assume every IHG or Omni works. The hotel still needs to qualify for both credits.
What to Do
Search for hotels through Chase Travel.
Look for a hotel that qualifies for the 2026 select hotel credit. Chase lists these eligible brands: IHG Hotels & Resorts, Montage Hotels & Resorts, Pendry Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotels, and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts.
Then check whether that same hotel is part of The Edit. This is the part that matters. A hotel can be an eligible brand but not part of The Edit, and then you wouldn't get both credits.
The Chase Travel listing should make this pretty obvious. Look for the "The Edit" badge or banner on the hotel result. In the benefits area, I also like seeing the line that says "Eligible for hotel loyalty program." If you care about hotel points or elite credit, don't assume that part unless Chase shows it.
Once you find a hotel that checks both boxes, book a prepaid Pay Now rate for at least 2 nights and pay with your Sapphire Reserve.
I would also screenshot the checkout page before booking. Chase credits usually work automatically, but screenshots make life easier if something doesn't post.
One Thing to Know
This is not an "all IHG hotels stack" thing.
IHG is one of the eligible brands for the 2026 select hotel credit, but only some IHG properties are in The Edit. Same idea with the other eligible brands. You need overlap between the select hotel list and The Edit.
Also, don't book a worse rate just to make the credits post. If Chase Travel is way more expensive than booking direct, the double dip might not be as good as it looks.
The hotel loyalty piece is separate from the credits. Some Chase Travel results show "Eligible for hotel loyalty program," which is great. If you don't see that, I wouldn't count on earning hotel loyalty points or elite credit from the stay.
The credited portion also doesn't earn points, so don't overthink the points side here. The value is the statement credits.
Bottom Line
The Chase Sapphire Reserve hotel double dip is real in 2026.
Find a hotel that qualifies for the $250 select hotel credit and is also part of The Edit. Book it prepaid through Chase Travel for at least 2 nights, pay with your Sapphire Reserve, and both credits can post.
If you already need a hotel and the Chase Travel price is close to booking direct, this is one of the easiest ways to get real value out of the Sapphire Reserve this year.
